New Slot.it Jaguar XJR12 Bud Light and Silk Cut Slot Cars
In time for the beginning of Summer slot car racing season, the U.S. will begin to see the distribution of three new liveries of the endurance racing Jaguar slot cars from the Italian slot car manufacturer Slot.it: Jaguar XJR12 Bud Light #2 Daytona 1992 part number CA13a, Jaguar XJR12 Silk Cut #34 3rd Le Mans 1991 part number CA13b, and Jaguar XJR12 Silk Cut #35 2nd Le Mans 1991 part number CA13c.
There was some initial confusion as to when these new Slot.it Jaguar XJR12′s would be released, but it looks as though the May-June timeframe is it. Given that all three releases advertise either beer or cigarette brand racing sponsorships, one might expect these slots cars also to have taped over branding to meet the stringent U.S. toy import requirements. Of course, the taping can be easily removed using the sticky side of Scotch tape.
